Laurie, age 4
Woodland Hills, California (1981)
As a kid, I always enjoyed dressing up in more 'boyish' clothes.
"I Was Born To Boogie" |
I loved my Star Wars figures, and hated Barbie dolls.
I wore boys Under-roos (Superman was my favorite!) and played sports.
I wore boys Under-roos (Superman was my favorite!) and played sports.
I knew I was really different around the age of 12 when I was working as a camp counselor in training and developed a crush on my counselor Erica.
Erica was just beautiful and always made me nervous when I was in her presence.
The rest is history...
I love this picture of me -- I was a cute kid!

No doubt about it, Laurie - you were a cute 'lil butchie! :) xo
so cute!
My little brother had the same shirt!
She looks so serious about boogie-ing!
This is great, Laurie! Thank you for sharing this!! Reminds me of myself a little bit, although I was less born to boogie as born to knit and raise a family of cats. :) Love it!
Bettcha you're plenty cute...all-ways.
